Originally it was at 9am, but they had us get there at 8:30 to get her prepped to start the echo at 9.
Well we checked in right at 8:30 and they got her ready and gave her the medicine to sedate her. Well, my little firecracker was having nothing to do with it. She knows her nap time is 10:30 and she eats at 9. How could she go to sleep? The medicine didn't phase her. She screamed her head off so I fed her at about 9:30. They had to give her more medicine because she was still bright eyed and ready to play.
She was asleep and we started the echo at 10:30. The echo went great! He said her heart looks amazing! Technically she should be showing signs of heart failure by now, but she hasn't at all. He also said that the bottom part of the hole had actually started to close on its own! He said she was an ideal in and out case!!
Afterward the nurses pricked and poked her and could not get the needle in to save their lives. They kept digging around and she screamed and now has her first little bruises. :(
Anyway, off to bed. We have to be at PSL at 6am tomorrow. She can't have pedialite past 5:30am, so we get to wake up at 4am to feed her before we make the trek up there. ::woo hoo::
